My Story and What Guides My Work
My name is Iana Besarabet. I was born in Ukraine and have been living in Germany for many years. For me, leading a matchmaking agency is more than a profession - it is a meaningful part of my life. I find genuine fulfillment in helping people build real connections and create relationships with a strong and healthy foundation.
Over time, my long-standing interest in psychology naturally shaped the direction of my work. From an early age, I have been deeply interested in people, their inner world, and the way relationships develop. Human connection has always seemed complex and meaningful to me, because relationships require effort, self-reflection, and, above all, a willingness to grow - first within oneself.
How I View Relationships and Compatibility
At the same time, I often hear the idea that people meet their partner “by destiny.” In my experience, this belief can be misleading. If relationships were guided only by fate, they would not end as often as they do. In reality, one of the main reasons relationships fail is the lack of a realistic perspective when choosing a partner. Many people remain in idealized expectations, overlooking important differences that later become sources of misunderstanding and conflict.
For this reason, I believe that relationships do not simply happen -they are built. Whether we speak about romantic partnerships or human relationships in general, harmony begins not with changing the other person, but with understanding oneself and being honest about personal priorities and values.
This understanding directly shapes the way I work. When I help create a couple, my focus is not on surface-level attraction or romantic assumptions. Instead, I pay close attention to values, life goals, and long-term intentions. Compatibility develops through shared principles and a realistic view of each other, rather than through illusions.
Ultimately, my goal is not simply to introduce two people. Rather, it is to help create a couple with a thoughtful foundation and a genuine chance for a happy and balanced future. For me, creating meaningful connections means responsibility, honesty, and respect for the individuality of every person involved.
